Metztli Cocina Bar brings the flavors of Puebla, Mexico to Richland: mole on the enchiladas poblanas, salsas made with chiles from the Puebla region and guacamole made fresh at your table, with a full bar to match.

Our story

Open since July 2026.

Metztli opened its doors on July 5, 2026, at 255 Williams Blvd, in the building Richland knew as Publichouse 255 and Fat Olives.

The menu runs from lunch specials on weekdays to a molcajete for two at dinner, with seafood from Baja, birria, sizzling fajitas and a Piña Loca served in the pineapple. In the first months, the Tri-Cities filled the room: families, date nights, even a lunch group of 20.

    Avocados mashed fresh at your table, served with warm chips.

    More than a dozen margaritas, from the house pour to huckleberry and a four-glass flight.

    A dining room, a bar, a patio out front and a kids menu for the little ones.

The name

Metztli, the moon.

Nahuatl was the language of the Aztecs, and it is still spoken in central Mexico today. "Metztli" is its word for the moon, the crescent on our sign and at the center of our logo.

Come by after dark, when the moon sign on Williams Blvd lights up.
